The most people with the same name in one place at one time - the name we are using is Elizabeth!
This IS for the Guinness Book of World Records (GBWR)! Guinness requires that the name we are using is the person's FIRST name. GBWR requires our Elizabeths provide their original birth certificates proving their name. They may allow passports and they may allow Elisabeth as an alternate spelling. To be part of this record attempt you must bring your original birth certificate.
The current GBWR record is held by the name Mohammed and was set in Dubai UAE in 2005 with 1,096 names. This is the record we need to beat.
The Most Elizabeths
This is not an attempt at a Guinness World Record. To the best of our knowledge, the record we set on June 28, 2008 is the world record and in 2009 we should beat the record for the most Elizabeths in one place at one time. With your participation we will set a NEW world record on Saturday, June 27, 2009!
Please plan to join us in setting this proclaimed world record. We are allowing the first or middle name of Elizabeth or Elisabeth. We will be looking for a birth certificate, passport or driver's license as proof.
